Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing are ways of making your website appear in the search engines such as Google when people use relevant keywords to search for a business like yours. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) covers all aspects of online marketing to drive visitors to your website and Search Engine Optimistation (SEO) should be part of your SEM. Some refer to SEM as the paid methods such as Google AdWords and SEO as free (or organic) such as adding keywords to the content of your site.

First you need to make sure your website code is optimised by making sure the correct ratio of keywords to content is placed on every page. The key things to optimise are;
